climbing

i've always enjoyed climbing things.
as a toddler, my parents said i could climb over the baby gate faster than they could;
maybe that's an exaggeration, maybe not.
when i was in gymnastics, i loved climbing up a rope similar to this one.
so when i found out about a exercising/training rope by our house,
i had to see if i still had my rope-climbing skills in me.
my mom & i went on an evening walk as she led me to it.
to my surprise, i scaled up it in no time
(maybe it was from all the rock climbing in grand forks). ha
but then my mom wanted to take a picture or twenty. ;)
without a flash, with a flash, from this angle and that angle.
i was up there for what seemed like five minutes, and my arms were burning.
i still love you though, mom! :) and i'm glad you got the pictures.

i love my job.

climbing, everyday climbing.
except the days my arms are on fire from climbing.

playing with my food.

biscoff spread: the texture of peanut butter, but the taste of teddy grams. so yummy.

i could've been a cheerleader; actually, i'm kinda glad i never was one.

study study study! i can see the faint light at the end of the tunnel.

last saturday (praise the Lord it was "warm"), und had a campus wide community event called the big event. we got free tshirts, sunglasses, stickers, waterbottles, breakfast and lunch. I surely wasn't expecting all that stuff!
over a thousand people came to do service projects throughout grand forks and east grand forks.
our group picked up trash at a park and along the river. i'm definitely participating next year!

because everyone needs a mullet book...

finally! it was warm enough to bike to school.
today, it's back down to 36, overcast and SUPER windy.
(Maybe it was a one time thing?)

This is a snow pile.
Don't believe me? Well, that's ok.
