Chocolate Truffles.


Oreo Truffles

My next-door-neighbor (best friends) in Germany (fyi: they aren't German) made the BEST Chocolate Oreo Truffles when I went over to their house one time. Need less to say, I've been hooked ever since.

Oreo Truffles:
-1 package of Oreo (can be double stuff or not)
-1 package (8 oz) 1/3 less fat cream cheese
-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
-semisweet chocolate chips
-white chocolate chips


Chop up the Oreos (goes faster if you use a food processor). Add the room temperature cream cheese and vanilla. Mix well. Then make into balls and put in freezer for a little bit. In a double broiler, melt the semisweet chocolate chips. Then, dip the balls in. This works best with a spoon and your fingers (just don't burn your fingers, because the chocolate could be hot!) Let them cool/dry on wax paper. Drizzle white chocolate on top. I dyed the white chocolate pink because of Valentine's Day :)
