A girl with a striped hat.

[In between the chemistry homework...]

I guess I've never worn this hat when Lucy has been around.

I put it on today, and she totally freaked out! She walked into my room to say hello, but she took one glance at the thing on top of my head and started growling and howling at it haha :) Silly dog.

It's just a fedora hat.

Anyways...

She got use to it quite quickly.

Blessed

A wise guy once said, "I am suffering with satisfaction."

I can say the same thing right now. :) I am suffering with satisfaction.

The Lord is blessing me with good grades, babysitting opportunities, places to serve at church, and chances to help people at school.

I like having a sense of purpose, and I love serving/being helpful.

Thank you, Lord!

I want to be Your hands and feet.

:)

Earthly Poverty

I want to help kids like this one...

To be at the poverty line in the United States, a family of four's annual income is $22,000.

The GDP per capita in Somalia (in 2008) was $600. That's the AVERAGE annual income!

>>six hundred dollars<<

That is $21,400 less than America's impoverished families.
How would you like earning less than $2 a day?

I don't want to sound rude, but some people spend double that much on a simple Starbucks drink every. single. day.

*********************

It may be hard to swallow this next fact:
"The poor you will always have with you, and you can help them any time you want. But you will not always have me."
-Jesus (Mark 14:7)

It's hard for ME to swallow that verse. I'm glad I have a opportunity to "help them any time I want", but the first part of the verse is heartbreaking and discouraging. The poor will ALWAYS be with us. Without God's help it can feel overwhelming; there is nothing we can do to erase "poorness". Sometimes I wish the government knew this. They might stop trying to create that perfect formula that puts an end to poverty. It's good to help those in need, don't get me wrong, but I feel like companies/governments are overly optimistic about the future of wiping out poverty.

**********************

We are able to go into the world and spread the good news, though. We are able to tell these people about a place that is full of riches, full of love, and full of perfection. And for us humans, this place doesn't cost a penny.

It is a gift.

When these people hear about a six star hotel, the best atmosphere, and the best Ruler is all for free (and able to be enjoyed forever), well,
they can either accept it or not. My thought is, if they are able to even fathom a place like heaven, they would accept it and become overjoyed. Because everything on this earth comes with a price tag: either money or time, it's hard to believe that we don't have to pay millions to stay a night or two. Heaven's ticket did come with a price tag though; thankfully, we mere humans didn't have to pay for it. We couldn't. We're not perfect. Jesus is. And He paid.

How can you look into his eyes and not feel compassionate?

I have a few goals regarding this topic. And when I don't particularly want to (or don't feel like it) all I have to do is remind myself of the rhetorical & silent question in my head:

What truly matters in this life? Think about it. What really matters?

Ok, so here are some goals:
1. Save, save, save up money and give it to the poor.
2. live and work at an orphanage (one of my dreams that I've had for a good amount of years now)
3. Be able to see smiles on these children's beautiful faces.

Hanger/shelf

I saw this really cute coat hanger/shelf on Etsy.com.

I forgot how much it cost, but I believe it was between 30-40 dollars (plus shipping)!

Crazy, huh?

I'm not a carpenter or anything, but this thing looks super easy to make.

And I suspect those materials aren't worth more than $10 :)

We are family

All my brothers (and no sister) and me :D

Call me a nerd

But I'm warning you now,

I'm not that smart.

Oh the joys of Organic Chemistry...

Overwhelmed

with school.

I understand how blessed I am to be able to get educated at college... for free :)
But sometimes, just sometimes, it is a blessing I don't like the pleasure of holding.

I ended up dropping the two computer classes the third day of this quarter. They were only 1 credit each, but nevertheless, 2 credits. So, now I'm only taking sociology, chemistry, and communications (16 credits). All three of these classes are the types of classes that don't have very many due dates or tests; therefore, procrastination can be an issue. I'm trying my best to stay on top of it all, though. :)

I just need to ask God for His strength and preserve through it all.

************************************************

Just a side note. It felt like this today. Please go away 38 degree weather!
I'm really ready for spring... or summer.

;)

Until next time.

Spring Break

For the first half of Spring Break, I was not sick! :) My family and I took a road trip all along the peninsula part of Washington.
:)
Road trips are amazing!

& Lucy came with us! :)

We stopped at the Hoh Rainforest in the Olympic National Park
Very very very green
I felt as if I were inhaling only clean fresh O2 (Until I saw someone smoking)

& the city of Port Angeles and Forks. They even had Twilight Tours haha.
You would think that you would see teen girls with their moms all over the city of Forks... being obsessed and all, but nooo!
The only people I saw were 5 or 6 male Indians (not Native Americans) in the age category of 20-30 years. hahahaha ;)
It was kinda weird actually. The city must become more busy when it's not sunny and/or during the Twilight hours... I'm not very interested in finding out though...

Onto the next AND final destination (besides home):

Pacific Beach, WA

God's creation is so beautiful!

My two younger brothers were uber excited about the ocean!
They were both born in Hawaii, but they don't remember it very well.

Lucy got really dirty/sandy...

So we put her in a plastic bag for the drive back to the cabin.

:)
And when we got to the cabin, we gave her a bath and cut most of her fur off. She looks like a mini (white) lion now. Or a hyena.

Until next time.

Cough cough

For those of you who don't know, being sick is not fun.

Out of the blue, I became really sick on Wednesday. Like
really sick. Really quickly. Within 3 hours, I went from feeling ok to a 102 point something fever. I don't usually get sick (thankfully), but when I do, it's bad.

-Coughing
-102 Fahrenheit fever (for 2 days)
-painful coughing
-headache
-back and neck hurt/achy

My throat hurts every time I cough, so I try not to cough. But it's hard not to cough when your body makes you cough. Thankfully, cough drops are helping and so is cough medicine, but my throat still hurts. So, I drink water... lots of water.

I have already learned my lesson about drinking water when my throat starts to hurt. :)

A few years ago, I insisted that not drinking water [for my sore throat] was the best way to go. But my sore throat just got worse and worse. I probably didn't eat or drink for 2-3 days (not a good thing to do). Anyways, I ended up going to the ER because of dehydration. They hooked me up to a IV, and I was completely miserable. I absolutely hate IVs or giving blood. Every time I have to do that stuff, I start sweating and start seeing spots, AND almost black out... not fun at all :( Anyways, when the water started going into my wrist (that is where the nurse found a vein- it took her awhile because my veins were really small or something), I could feel the water spreading up my arm and throughout my body... such a weird feeling. haha I don't remember exactly how much water I ended up getting, but it was a lot (maybe two and a half liters).

Lesson Learned: Every time I have the slightest sore throat coming on, drink tons of water :) It works.

So for the past few days, I've just been spending 95% of my time on the couch or in my bed... drinking water or sleeping or watching movies/shows.

In some ways it's nice to be sick during Spring Break, and in other ways it's not. I have minimal responsibilities right now, but I did have a list of things to do before the break ended. I probably won't get as much done as I wanted to. Oh well.

Cough. cough. cough. cough. cough.

Until next time.

Productivity.

Productive is a word I can use to describe my days off Facebook and on Spring Break.

On Wednesday I finished my second quarter of college, and survived ;) I had a Biology and English final. All the tests in biology are scantron based; therefore, it doesn't take too long for the teacher to grade. So that same day my final grade was known. I walked to my teachers office before my next class, and he looked at the records on his computer and told me I got a 94.4%=3.9. Man, that was way too close to a 4.0 (95%+). If I would have gotten 1 or 2 more answers correct on a test or quiz, it probably would have bumped my grade up just enough. How disappointing... He also told me that I had the highest grade in the class! Haha. So I kind of have mixed feelings about that grade. I should have asked him if he could of given me a 4.0, because I had the highest grade... oops.

I had some time to kill, so I walked to the gym at school :) At around 11:30 I headed back to my next class...

English's final was just a paper to turn in :) No in-class essay :D We handed in our papers to him in a addressed and stamped envelope, so that he could mail our papers back and send us our final grade.

And then I was D-O-N-E!

No more school until March 28th. Finals were on Wed, Thurs, and Fri, but both of mine were on Wednesday! Yay, 2 more days of break :)

So, now I'm on Spring Break!

On Thursday, I drove Nate to his final that morning. I wanted to drive him, because I like forcing myself to get up (then I don't feel as if I'm "wasting the day away"). :)
So I dropped him off and went to the gym again. It's a little smaller than the one on post, but if you get there at 7:50am during finals week... NO ONE IS THERE! :) Well, except one person at the desk ha. After that, my mom sent me to the commissary; I used a ton of coupons that my mom had given me:) and I actually lost the shopping list :\ Thankfully I was pretty much done by then. So I was checking out and everything... the African American cashier was scanning all the coupons, and at the end she said, "You saved $13 dollars! You go girl!" Haha I love it :) She was SO nice too! I admire people that always seem cheery and joyful.

:)

By the way, it was St. Patrick's Day that day too, So I made pancakes with green sprinkles for lunch :) And then I babysat our neighbors for a bit.

For dinner I made this 6 strand braided bread. I used the bread maker to make the dough but cooked it in the oven. I added rosemary, some garlic and herbs. The house smelled so good :) The 6 strand thing may sound hard, but it really isn't. I learned to do it from youtube ;) The bread
went with our corned beef and cabbage in honor of St. Patrick's Day.
:)

After dinner my mom and two younger siblings went to a movie on base: Tangled. It is CRAZY how cheap the tickets are there. $7 for 4 people! You cannot beat that. It was such a cute movie :) But I think my favorite part was listening to all the dads laugh throughout the movie :)

Well, needless to say, my first full day of break wasn't exactly a "break". But it was a break from school :)
It was busy, but no deadlines were put in place (thankfully)... which made me happy.

Until next time.

Lent

I'm typing this on my iPod touch, so excuse this short post....You may or may not know this, but I am giving up Facebook for Lent. It is SO weird not getting on! I had my mom change my password so that I literally canNOT get on it... It's only been, what, 5 days. I feel like its been forever. How pitiful. I know it's good for me though...

Happy News

I got into the Chemistry class!!!!!

:D

I'm soooo happy.

I tried to get into it this quarter but it didn't work out.

I had been on the wait list since I registered and yesterday I checked to see what position I was in (1st, 2nd, etc)
And it said, "You are not on a wait list for any classes." At first I thought to myself, oh no! did it just take me off the list? Will I not be able to take the class now...
But then I checked my schedule, and Chemistry 131 was on it!

Woohoo!

God is good!

So now I'm officially taking 18 credits in the Spring. I'm going to be so busy. I hope it isn't too hard.

"I can do all thing through Christ who gives me strength."
:)

Sociology @ 8am (5 credits)
Chemistry @ 9am (6 credits)
Lab @ 10am on Mondays
Intro to Communications @ 12pm (5 credits)
2 Btech classes @ 5:30pm on Tues and Thurs (1 credit each)
:)

*Side note, I was driving to the library the other day, and I saw someone that looked exactly, like a girl I met at camp in Germany! Haha It was really freaky. And the weird thing is, it just could have been her (seeing as we're both military brats... )

Things like that have happen before...

While living in Germany, I took a semester of German at the high school on base. Before I started, my mom and I got a tour of the campus. All the Juniors (new to that school) were invited to come. One of the older students showed my mom and I and this other girl and her mom around.... I'm really good with remembering people's faces and I recognized this girl and her mom... but where were they from... it didn't take me long to remember, but they keep looking at us like we looked familiar. When the tour was over, her mom said, "You guys look kinda familiar. Where have we seen you two before." I was like, "It was in Hawaii, we lived on the same post, and went to the same Girl Scouts (her mom was the co-leader)together." I even remembered her name... Thea :)
Yeah, it was WEIRD. And there we were 6 years later.

It's amazing what the military life can do to you...

Until next time.

Biology

It's hard to learn about a science subject, such as biology, when the teacher won't stop talking about evolution.

It bugs me SO much!

As this winter quarter comes to an end, I look back and am glad that I've been able to push through it.
What makes me so aggravated is that my teacher and textbook teach evolution as a fact throughout the class EVEN when the first chapter says it's a theory... :\ What's up with that?!
At the beginning of this quarter, my time spent in the lectures consisted of me feeling sick to my stomach... my professor was and is teaching a lie, and all of my peers believe that stuff... it crushes my heart.
Now it seems like I'm just "getting use to" the whole evolution thing. I'm not saying that I believe it. That's not what I'm saying at all. It's more like I am getting use to the idea that evolution is a part of this society, and the battle between creation vs. evolution will not end until Jesus comes back. I think I've learned to ignore the lies my teacher throws out at us, and I don't feel nauseous any more.
Sadly for the exams, I NEED to know this evolution stuff. I want a good grade and that means learning the material.
There is definitely a difference, though, between knowing and believing. I can KNOW what the "correct" answer on a test is, but believing those "facts" is a choice. If someone were to tell me to believe evolution while putting a gun to a head, well, I'd be in heaven because of my refusal to believe it.

I mean, look around you... the bright stars on a clear night, the vibrant colors of hot springs, ecosystems and how they work together, snow and sand, how microscopic this planet is compared to the milky way or universe, and how huge it is compared to a little cell... And yet that cell has DNA codes, RNA, ribosomes synthesizing protein, mitochondria making energy from chemicals, etc. And that's just ONE cell. We have trillions of them in our bodies. In the book Crazy Love by Francis Chan*, he says that a caterpillar has 228 separate and distinct muscles in its head!! That's a lot!

*I highly recommend you read this book! :)

The amazing complexity of a single flower.
Point Defiance, Washington

Hot Spring in Yellow Stone.
The more I learn about this earth, the more I figure out that I don't know anything. Crazy how that works.

I don't think this happened by accident...

Until next time.

Signing up for classes... again

Every quarter I am required to sign up for classes. Every quarter I see what classes the college has to offer. And every quarter I love figuring out which "plan" would be best: Plan 1, Plan 2, Plan 3, or Plan 4. Haha, I like planning :)

For some people, planning is hard, because they don't like when God changes their plans. Thankfully for me, I am okay with God changing my plans. If He wants me doing something else, I'll do it. But planning is part of my nature.
SO, is there anything wrong with making plans? I don't think so- as long as you accept the fact that some doors will be closed/opened.

I was able to sign up the second day of registration at 3pm. Sadly, two of the biology classes, microbiology&260 and anatomy&241 (part 1), were full with a wait-list by the 1st day!! Crazy, huh? A lot of people really want these classes.

So, when 3 pm on Wednesday came along, I hopped onto the computer and started the registration process. I tried to get on the waiting list for both biologies (hoping I could get into one or the other), but the waiting- lists were FULL.

Oh my goodness.

I pray that I'll be able to do both of them at once next quarter. Not very fun, but I've got to do it.

Need less to say, I'm signed up for:
-Sociology&101 at 8am
-Communication&101 at 12pm
-two computer classes at 5:30pm on T and Th.
-an online class called Information Studies

*I'm also on a waiting-list for Chemistry&131 class too. Praying, praying, praying that I'll get in. When I signed up, I was the "4th" in line, but now I'm 2nd!! :D I'm moving up in line... :)
If I do get into the Chemistry class, I'll probably drop the Info class, because 19 credits is kinda pushing it...

These are the classes I must complete before applying for the 2 year dental hygiene program.
The seasons above the classes are optional-you don't necessarily need to do the classes in order.

Including the quarter I'm in now, I've completed:
English&103
Math&107
Psychology&100
Chemistry&121

English&101
Biology&160
Yoga :D

Time Flies!

Germany,

Florida,

then

Washington State

:)

This day (a year ago) I was on a airplane flying into the Tampa Bay airport in Florida with my family. We were moving to Washington from Germany, but we took a little detour to visit our extended family in the nice, warm and sunny state of FL. Only thing is, it wasn't very warm OR sunny Lol. I had brought short sleeve shirts and shorts... but I didn't use them all that much.
My baby cousin was born that day, so I got to hold a newborn for a lot of the time! *love* :)

Besides being inside, my 5, 7, and 9 year old boy cousins would convince me to play football with them. I felt like I was at football boot camp ;) No, actually I learned a lot AND had so much fun!!

While in Florida, we also went to Disney World :) I had a lot of fun, but I was ready to come back to my cousins, aunt and uncle. Oh! and my grandparents also came, so we had a mini family reunion :) Grandpa (68) and my youngest brother (8) celebrated their birthdays together. How awesome is that :)

After being in Florida for a about two weeks, we flew off to a mysterious new location. A place we would call "home" for the next few years. We stayed in the "hotel" on post for about a month. This was the month of March now, so we still had school. That's the nice thing about homeschooling... you can break/start whenever it is convenient. We came to Washington at the perfect time. It was the time when all the cherry blossom trees are blooming.

:D

So beautiful!

It's interesting... I was reading my journal a few days ago. Reading what I had written during the time we were moving.
I know God answers pray, so I would pray that:
1) we would find a great church.
2) I would find great new friends.

He answered those two prayers very quickly. :)

It's funny, my brother and I were talking about how much more we're involved here compared to what we were in Germany for the first 2 years.

You really have to trust God that he will prepare the way. Every time we move, it seems easier and easier to trust Him, because He DOES show Himself faithful :) And every time we move, I feel His blessings more and more.

Until next time.

Chocolate Truffles.

Oreo Truffles

My next-door-neighbor (best friends) in Germany (fyi: they aren't German) made the BEST Chocolate Oreo Truffles when I went over to their house one time. Need less to say, I've been hooked ever since.

:D

Oreo Truffles:
-1 package of Oreo (can be double stuff or not)
-1 package (8 oz) 1/3 less fat cream cheese
-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
-semisweet chocolate chips
-white chocolate chips

Chop up the Oreos (goes faster if you use a food processor). Add the room temperature cream cheese and vanilla. Mix well. Then make into balls and put in freezer for a little bit. In a double broiler, melt the semisweet chocolate chips. Then, dip the balls in. This works best with a spoon and your fingers (just don't burn your fingers, because the chocolate could be hot!) Let them cool/dry on wax paper. Drizzle white chocolate on top. I dyed the white chocolate pink because of Valentine's Day :)

Warning: They are SO addicting!
Eat with caution. May cause buttons to pop.
;)

Until next time.

When will summer come?

It's SUNNY! Woohoo :D

While we have 45 degree weather, the rest of the United States is experiencing snow storm after snow storm.

I shouldn't complain... BUT...

I MISS SUMMER.

The Puget Sound is so beautiful in the summer time :) Along with the whole state of Washington... (well, maybe not the dry east side).

Soaking up the sun

Doesn't that picture look like it should be in a REI magazine??

;)

Usually my brother and I bike down to the water, but I've done it with a couple of my friends too. It's only 3 or 4 miles each way. And boy, is it worth it! I can't wait to go biking outside without breathing in freezing O2.

Until next time.

I heart Valentine's Day

Even as a single gal, I love Valentine's Day SO much! It's probably my third most favorite holiday (Christmas and Easter being first and second). Thanksgiving and Valentine's are basically tied for third place... :)

It is such a sweet day!

My mom especially made this holiday the best for us as we grew up. She had us make sugar cookies in all different heart shapes and sizes with red and pink sprinkles. We would also (actually, we still do this) each make home make heart shaped cards for everyone in the family :) I love this tradition.

The back of my door has all the past red&pink cards from family members.

Making cards is such a wonderful way to show my love and appreciation to my mom, dad, and brothers.

I hate it when Valentine's Day comes around, and people feel pressured into finding a date/lover/valentine (whatever you want to call it). Why can't we just love the people that are ALREADY in their lives?

So, when Valentine's Day comes, share it with the people who are already in your heart.

Oh, and of course... don't forget all the chocolate... Dark chocolate: Godiva, Ghirardelli, Lindt, Hershey, Ritter Sport, and Ferrero Rocher.

God created heaven on earth when he let cocoa beans grow here!

Until next time.

Names

I love interesting names.

Names that sound pretty or names that are cute :) My wonderful parents actually made my name up: Rosala. They liked the 'rose' part, and a grandmother from both sides of the family had a rose- name. One was Rosalin and the other was Rosaleah. (I'm not so sure about the spellings).

So, they just called me Rosala. I love it. I like being unique. I'm not just another... what's a common name? Sarah? Not that Sarah isn't a nice name, it's just that I like variations. Names that you don't come across everyday.

Here are some other names that I have a likin' for:

Girls:
Avigail- (Variation of Abigail: father's joy)
Nevaeh- (Heaven spelled backwards. Only problem is that that name IS becoming quite popular.)
Felicity- (English: happiness)
Vera- (Russian: faith)
Lydia- (Germanic: of the noble sort)
Genesis- (Greek: Beginning, birth)
Emmalyn- (Emma- German: all-containing, universal. Lyn- English: near a lake/pond)
Lyric- (English: lyric)
Thea- (Greek: gift of god)
Willow- (English: willow)
Adeline- (Germanic: noble)
Constance- (Latin: steadfast)
Maisy- (English: pearl)

Boys:
Lincoln- (English: lake settlement/colony)
Truman- (English: faithful man)
Silas- (Latin: of the forest)
Joel- (Hebrew: the Lord is God)
Levi- (Hebrew: combined/joined in harmony)
Matthias- (Hebrew: gift of God)
Liam- (Germanic: will, desire)
Shiloh- (Hebrew: peaceful, tranquil)

Until next time.

p.s. My dad actually wanted to name me Sarah ;)

Haha

Thankyou Jesus.

This past weekend was quite eventful, a little... ok maybe a lot... :) It was stressful, exciting, busy and amazing :D

My Friday started out with biology at eight in the blessed AM! My profesor talked about what would be on the test that Monday. Yes, Monday... for some reason he likes giving tests on Mondays... yippie! :\ Then I had my very simple waste-of-time kind of class: Math in Society. I'm glad it's easy though... Only problem is, it gets a little tiring after awhile, because I have that class every. single. day.

We've kind of made this tradition of driving to the local frozen yogurt with my brother and some friends on Fridays after classes.

It's a nice break, and a good start to the weekend. :)
The place is so cozy and relaxing, and the frozen yogurt is sososo good! (LOVE) They change the flavors every week, so this time I got peanut butter. Ohmygoodness! It is the best thing ever! :D

Anyways, we got home and I tried to finish my 5 page essay (due Monday) for my english class....

SO, if you haven't been paying attention, I have a Biology exam to study for AND a wonderful paper to write :P Shall be an interesting weekend...

no fun for me... no siree. But then again, it might just be an awesome weekend!

Okay, on to Saturday, my friend and I volunteered to watch kinder at my church for a marriage conference. So, she picked me up, and we watched kids from ages about 8 months to 4-year-olds for the whole morning (including lunch). I ended up getting home at around 1:30ish.

This gave me just enough time to run around the house getting certain things ready for the JROTC Navy Ball!
I drove over to some friends of mine to get ready :D Their wonderful aunt was there to do hair and makeup. She was awesome!

I got to sit at the head table with Josh, Rachel, Nate, Tim, and some other people. :) The ROTC people did a great job and I had so much fun!

At the end of the ceremony, they had dancing :) It was a blast, but Rachel and I couldn't get Josh or Nate to join in. Such party poopers ;) It's alright, we finished dancing and played cards (the 4 of us) because the music was SUPER DUPER LOUD!! And THEN, we went to Applebee's until 12:15 in the morning. Craziness!

:)

Here's some pictures from that night...

Rachel and I at the Navy Ball

The whole gang :)

All the guys lookin' so spiffy.

My brother and I

Nate, Rachel, Josh, and I :)
Fun night... fun night...

The next morning was Sunday! Thankfully I was able to sleep in a bit. :) Unfortunately for Nate and Josh... they had to get up nice and early to practice/set up for youth worship.

I hadn't really studied at all for biology this weekend, so I was definitely starting to stress and freak out. :\ I got to church a little early (not much though). But enough to experience God's goodness to me. While the worship group was still practicing, I flipped open my Bible to a random spot. Well, before I tell the story, let me say that I usually underline significant verses and read them again if I flip to a page with unlined text. So I randomly flipped to Matthew 6. And then I read the verse:

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34

At first I thought, oh great! I don't have to study... ;) haha
And then I thought, Oh great... what kind of trouble does today hold.
I was confused. Am I suppose to study? Or what?

And then I read another underlined verse. It said:

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?" Matthew 6:25-27

God tells us not to worry.
So maybe I should study BUT not worry :) Yay! I figured it out!

Just for the record, God showed himself through.
I did study some.
And I did get an amazing grade.

Before handing out the test scores, my teacher said something along the lines of, "Over all, you guys did pretty well. One person got a 100%, and quite a few of you got mid/upper 90s, and no one got 20 or 30%. That makes teachers really happy." So then he laid the scantrons on the table in the front of the class for us to get. I found mine, and honestly I didn't know how to read it... how embarrassing. I hadn't taken a scantron test before so I was trying to figure it out. Someone looked over my shoulder and said, "You got a 100%!" I looked in shock. There it was in red: 50/100% meaning 50 questions right, therefore 100 percent. :) I had to ask my teacher... was there really only ONE person that got 100. He said "yep." I was like.. "umm well... that was me!" :) He said "great job!" and gave me a high five :D

The rest of the day, I was walking on air ;)

Thankyou Jesus!

Until next time.
